The Rundown: Leia struggles with her past as she seeks out the last remnants of Alderaan.
Leia finds herself back on Alderaan in a tense nightmare about the planet’s last moments and her own guilt at the role she played in it. A nightmare that will force her to talk to the only person who sees her outside of her role as a rebel leader, Luke Skywalker.
After speaking with Luke, Leia is contacted by a rebel pilot who keeps tabs on the refugees from Alderaan. After learning their fleet has gone missing, Luke and Leia go on a mission to find them and run into a dangerous enemy.
The Story: Soule takes the story to some much-needed adventure in this new arc. After the hit or miss elements of the Lando trial, I like that this story focuses on Leia’s feelings towards her actions and the fate of Alderaan. The story has an intriguing mystery at the heart of it as well as some great action and thrills. I look forward to seeing where this story goes next.
The Art: Morales delivers some great art throughout the issue. I love the beautifully detailed pages and panels as well as the thrilling art.
