The Rundown: A crippled Enterprise has one chance to survive the race.

The Enterprise is crippled in the most dangerous part of the race course. Spock and the Uvex ship come to the rescue is do what they can to help the ship as the remaining racers find the area equally as dangerous and difficult to navigate. Pike uses their collective distress to come up with a dangerous and desperate plan.

As Zephyx waits for news of the race, he finds himself facing something he never thought that he would and could not only mean an end of the race, but a change to the entire sector.

The Story: Parrott brings this story to a satisfactory and fun conclusion. There are some great Trek elements throughout the issue and the mounting tension of the series pays off in the finale. A great Star Trek adventure that delivers on everything great about Strange New Worlds and its characters.

The Art: Hernandez delivers some impressive and visually stunning art in the issue. The imagery catches the eye and the details in every page and panel drew me in.
