The Rundown: Sisko and his crew face down Kahless, but protecting a sleeping god could lead to a bigger disaster.

Sisko and the crew of the Theseus continue their pursuit of Kahless and his followers through the heart of the god city of T’Kon. Unable to stop the Klingon ship with traditional weapons, the ship finds itself being hammered by the environment and their enemy. With their shields down, a Klingon boarding party reveals a familiar face to Worf.

At the same time, Sisko discovers what is fueling the Klingon ship and its connection to the Prophets. Faced with a no-win scenario and few options, the Theseus will face not only their personal demons, but an even bigger threat.

The Story: Kelly and Lanzing deliver an action packed and emotional story in this issue. Sisko and his crew are facing an intriguing adversary in Kahless and their personal and professional choices throughout the story make for some interesting drama for the reader. I love the fast pace of the plot and how well it transitions all of its characters to the points where they are forced to deal with the consequences of their own actions. Worf, in particular, has some very compelling moments throughout the story.

The Art: Rosanas and Tamayo deliver some beautiful art that reminded me on every page and panel of what I love about the Star Trek universe.
