The Rundown: Sisko and the crew of the Theseus race against the unraveling of the universe.
After Lore detonates a device inside the Pleroma, the Theseus and its crew are desperate to escape the impending shockwave that is killing off the gods. A shockwave Sisko barely escapes in time before returning to his quarter to seek out the orb of the prophets.
At the same time, the crew fights to escape the wave coming for them and Data realizes exactly what Lore has done as the ship tries to use the Guardian of Forever as an escape. Unfortunately, Sisko’s intervention will lead the ship into possibly more dangerous territory.
The Story: Kelly and Lanzing deliver an action packed, thrilling adventure in this issue. The story has wonderful moments for the crew and a dark, ominous tone that made everything they did within the story compelling. I enjoyed the pacing of the story and how each moment had weight and meaning as the plot raised the stakes and tension. I cannot wait to see where this story goes next.
The Art: Levens delivers visually thrilling and exciting art throughout the issue. I love the imagery and how it drew me in as both a reader and a Star Trek fan.
