The Rundown: After crashing on a dangerous alien planet, the team needs help from an unexpected source.
Space Ghost and his team crash land on the planet Halcyon and Jace finds himself separated from the others. Things get more difficult when Jace realizes that he is losing control of his mind and gets help from Blip who has developed advanced use of language. At the same time, Space Ghost and Jan find themselves captured by the forces of the Creature King who has a beam that strips humans of their intellect while boosting the same in the local animals.
As Space Ghost and Jan find themselves in the middle of an arena fighting for their lives, Jace and Blip must find a way to infiltrate the Creature King’s citadel in order to disable the device affecting the human’s minds. A mission that might cost them all something big.
The Story: Pepose delivers another fantastic story in this issue. I not only love the bigger arcs and how they shape the characters, but I love self contained adventures like this one that not only have awesome moments of action and thrills, but also great character development and evolution. I love the thrills throughout this issue and how the suspense builds with all of the characters. I continue to be impressed with this series and look forward to see what happens next.
The Art: Lau delivers blistering art throughout the issue. The visuals are stunning in their detail and perfectly capture the action and thrills of the story.
