The Rundown: An old foe of Space Ghost escapes to continue his plan for the end of the universe.
A space prison finds its most terrifying prisoner free from his bonds. Zorak has escaped and Space Ghost and the kids are alerted. As Space Ghost prepares to look for his enemy, he warns the kids to stay at headquarters and the price they will pay if they disobey.
As Space Ghost finds himself facing the fanatical minion of Zorak, the kids go to help a group of kidnapped scientists and find themselves trapped by Zorak and his growing group of followers.
The Story: Pepose delivers a thrilling, intense story in this issue. There are great moments of suspense throughout the story and a wonderful rise in tension as the story balances intrigue and blistering action. I continue to enjoy the evolution of character relationships and how the tension in this one is intricate to the events that happen next. I like where the story leaves the characters at the end and look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Lau delivers on the intensity of the story with awesome detailed art that captures the danger the characters face while also enhancing the emotional intensity of the characters.
