The Rundown: QJ tries to get his powers back as the ship prepares to face the Breen in battle.
QJ is still powerless and with the death of the captain, Mariner and the rest of the crew are desperate to find a solution to protect themselves from the incoming Breen ship. At the same time, Alexander runs from his duty and Jake takes him somewhere to force him to face his fear.
As the Breen close in and begin their attack, QJ discovers that something has happened to his powers. Something he will only be able to unlock if he finally tells the truth behind his motivations. A truth that will have some interesting effects on events.
The Story: Hampton brings this story to an engaging and entertaining conclusion. While feeling a little rushed narratively at times, the story manages to convey some great emotion and revelations for the characters and their interactions with each other are great. There is some great action throughout the story and an intriguing message for each of the characters to learn.
The Art: Hernandez delivers great art throughout the issue. The action is visually stunning and I really enjoy the character designs and cameos.
