The Rundown: A family works to find a way to connect to an alien robot.

The Synap group is working feverishly to unlock the secrets of a piece of alien technology that the government has been collecting for years. At the heart of Synap is a family patriarch using his children to attempt to connect with the intelligence within the device. A matriarch who will stop at nothing and risk everyone to unlock its secrets.

As one of the siblings finds himself in a strange zone of memory, another finds herself being summoned when another piece of the device is found. As the tension within the family continues to grow, Driver Six finds herself possibly bringing the final piece they need to bring their alien technology to life.

The Story: Moses crafts an interesting premise in this first issue. There are some interesting dynamics at play as well and the tease of great family drama throughout the story. I like seeing how the mystery of this story builds and I look forward to seeing how events play out.

The Art: Giannini delivers some beautiful art in the issue. I love the visual style a lot and the character designs and details are beautifully done.
