The Rundown: Caspar confronts Amon and his group only to discover another secret.
Caspar finds himself facing the uncovered secret. A secret that he has been afraid of because it haunts his dreams. Unfortunately, the reality of it is less than intimidating. With things taking an interesting turn, Caspar presses his attack knowing that he can’t stop Amon and his forces alone even with his new powers. As the rest of the Order joins the fight, Caspar almost loses his life trying to help a friend.
In the aftermath, not everyone makes it out alive and Caspar is left to deal with the fact that Amon and the others escaped with the demon. A demon whose servants have come looking for it and have decided that they will give it what it needs in order to destroy Caspar. As the Order prepares to move out to find a way back to Faerie, Eva reveals something life changing about both Caspar and the seventh secret he’s been carrying.
The Story: Taylor pulls out all the stops with a story that filled with revelations, action, adventure and tragedy. I love how the stakes keep being raised in this series and how the dangers continue to mount. There are some great action beats in the story and the moments with Caspar are great. I love the buildup throughout the story and how everything comes together to both reveal new things as well as setup new dangers.
The Art: Daniele Di Nicuolo delivers some fantastic art on every page of this issue. There are so many great visual moments filled with action and beautiful detail.
