The Rundown: Caspar gets careless and Canto uncovers more betrayal.
With the team split, Canto and his group make their way to the ruins of Switzerland. The small group moves down river and Canto is convinced that someone on his team is going to betray them. When they arrive on site to find the opened secret, his fears are confirmed as two people he thought he could trust attack them to steal the secret for the Seekers. In the aftermath, Canto will be face to face with Amon and their connection is revealed.
At the same time, Eva’s team has captured the Prime Minister of England and she gives it over to Harold to get information from the man about his connection to Amon. Unable to stand the torture any longer, Caspar steps in and Eva notices there is something different about her son. Something that none of them are prepared for.
The Story: Taylor continues to ramp up the mystery in this issue and I love it. I continue to be impressed and invested in the personal relationships of these characters and the twists and turns of their betrayals. The story is paced beautifully and the moments between characters and circumstances are engaging. This is another great, action-packed issue that draws you into its mystery and characters.
The Art: Daniele Di Nicuolo dazzles with some beautifully detailed and action packed art. The art brilliantly matches the energy and tension of the story and the style is fantastic.
