The Rundown: A fallout between siblings will give an enemy the opportunity to strike.
A falling space station will require the intervention of Wanda Maximoff before it hits the small town she calls home. Her brother Pietro comes in to help with civilians while Wanda does her magic to stop the descent as well as save the occupants aboard.
In the aftermath, the siblings receive a mysterious package with a letter from their late father. A letter that will cause a rift between them sending both into confrontations with the Wizard on behalf of a powerful enemy.
The Story: Orlando has a wonderful grasp on these characters and the complicated relationship between Wanda and Pietro. The mystery in the story immediately grabbed my attention. I like seeing Wanda being a person as well as a force of nature and Orlando does a fantastic job of making Wanda a compelling and fully realized person. I look forward to seeing where this story goes next.
The Art: Tammetta delivers some great art in the issue. I love the visual style of the series and how it makes the characters jump off the page.
