The Rundown: Wanda finds herself helping someone new while a familiar face returns.
Wanda is shocked with the return of her father until she discovers that it is actually his clone Joseph who is on the run from Orchis in the wake of the attack on Krakoa. When Nelson Gruber emerges from the Last Door raving and missing a hand, Wanda reluctantly agrees to help him with his unique problem.
Gruber has used his powers to recreate Oz in a small town and the Wicked Witch of the West has deposed him and is using her power and his to keep the world intact. Wanda must face off against the witch in order to send her back to her world, but Nelson might not be deserving of the help being offered.
The Story: Orlando crafts a fun and entertaining story for Wanda in this issue. The story has some great action and dialogue between Wanda and the Wicked Witch. I like that there is a twist with the person being helped. I also enjoyed having Joseph return and what that could mean for Wanda going forward. A consistently intriguing and engaging series that keeps getting better with every issue.
The Art: Both artists deliver beautifully detailed and visually compelling art throughout the issue. The imagery is truly magical.
