The Rundown: Wanda and her kids have a day out that quickly becomes dangerous.
Wanda decides to spend the day in the hidden magical town of New Salem with her sons Billy and Tommy as well as her new charge Amaranth. After spending time together and showing her the town, the four of them discover that there is something wrong with the people. Something they will discover too late as they find themselves trapped in separate dimensions.
As the kids are being tormented and trapped, Wanda faces off against the person responsible. Someone from her past with a connection to both her and Agatha Harkness. Someone who has a grudge against them both and is seeking revenge.
The Story: Orlando delivers a great story in this issue. It’s filled with action, thrills and an enemy with a great personal vendetta against Wanda. The story has a great buildup of suspense throughout the issue and culminates is some great moments for the characters as well as a resolution that is both smart and incredibly entertaining. I continue to be impressed with this series and look forward to what happens next.
The Art: Tammetta delivers some great art in the issue. The story is filled with action and a focus on the characters and the visuals do not disappoint with great visual moments for each character.
