The Rundown: Dylan and his new mentor Caleb must travel to a hidden world to get information as another threat continues to grow.
Caleb Hawthorne is one of the first to wield the Sun Stone and became bound to it upon his death. After his siblings attempt to steal the stone from him, Dylan finds himself with the ghost of Caleb in the present. A ghost offering to mentor the young man on how to become a hero. At the same time, Hunter checks on his father and decides to go into the family business. A prospect that will cause strife between father and son.
As Dylan learns more about the threat he’s facing, he turns to Caleb for advice. Advice that will bring him to a powerful entity that could hold the key to what he needs to take on a powerful evil.
The Story: Parrot crafts a thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. The characters continue to grow and evolve along with the story and the world of this story becomes more engaging with each issue. I love the dual stories with Dylan and Hunter and the drama within each.
The Art: Renna delivers some beautiful art. The characters look great and the world of the story is visually thrilling throughout the issue.
