Deron GenerallyReboots and remakes continue, even in animation, as Amazon prepares to launch a new version of the classic animated series The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle.
DreamWorks Animation Television will be producing the new series which will reunite the duo of flying squirrel Rocky (Tara Strong) and dimwitted, but sweet Bullwinkle Moose (Brad Norman). The series will find the pair thrust into sticky situations they aren’t prepared for, but always finding a solution that saves the day and themselves. The pair’s adventures will find them in the crosshairs of the villainous Fearless Leader (Piotr Michael) and his notorious spies Boris (Ben Diskin) and Natasha (Rachel Butera).
No word yet on whether staples of the original series like Dudley Do-Right or Fractured Fairy Tales will be included in this new series. We’ll have to wait and see.
The world-famous talking moose and flying squirrel are back in The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, a comedy about two goofball friends who end up in harrowing situations but end up saving the day time and again. As their silly ambitions dovetail with Fearless Leader’s sinister plans to take over the world, they are set on a collision course with his notorious super spies Boris and Natasha.
The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle debut on Amazon May 11th.
