The Rundown: Tim and the other Robins discover they are players in a deadly and dangerous game.
Nightwing, Robin and Red Hood all take to different areas to get clues to who is coming after them. At the same time, a captured Tim Drake manages to free himself just long enough to gather information on his captor before he’s attacked. As Bruce Wayne gets an unexpected visitor at a high profile event, Red Hood tracks Anarky through the tunnels beneath the city. After confronting him, it takes Spoiler to end the conflict and get the Robins back on track to find the real enemy.
Back at Dick’s home, they gather and begin to discuss what happened to Tim and why they can’t find him. After Stephanie shows them evidence of a bigger game at play, one of them decides that he has to play it in order to get the information they need. At the same time, Batman believes something is going on that he can’t bring a partner in on while Tim discovers that his captor has been playing him for information straight from the Bat-Computer.
The Story: Seeley deep dives into the mystery elements of the story in this issue and each character is given some great moments to shine. The story is engaging and entertaining throughout and the stakes continue to get higher for all of the characters. I love the fact that the main antagonist is still a mystery. There is a danger to her connection to Batman and I cannot wait to see how that connection is revealed.
The Art: Rivas delivers some great art in the issue. There are some interesting and wonderfully designed character moments and the action is visually thrilling.
