Disney+ and Marvel Studios under Kevin Feige have made another announcement about the writing team for one of the upcoming Marvel series on the streaming service.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, writer Jessica Gao has been tapped to lead the development and writing team for the upcoming She-Hulk live action series.
Co-created by Stan Lee and John Byrne, She-Hulk is the alter ego of attorney Jennifer Walters, cousin of Bruce Banner. When Bruce utilizes a blood transfusion to save his cousin’s life, Jennifer awakens with the Hulk’s powers, but her same personality and intellect. She alters her time between being a hero and defending them in the courtroom.
Jessica Gao is known for her writing credentials on animated series like The Mighty B! She’s written episodes of HBO’s Silicon Valley and won an Emmy for penning the “Pickle Rick” episode of Rick and Morty.
