Deron GenerallyNetflix and Marvel Studios are adding three new series regulars to the second season of The Punisher.
The streaming service has announced that actors Josh Stewart, Floriana Lima and Giorgia Whigham will be joining the cast which will include the return of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher, Ben Barnes as Billy Russo and Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani.
Stewart will play the character John Pilgrim who is described as “a man whose calm exterior belies a ruthless interior. Despite having left behind a life of violence, circumstances will force him to use his old skills and bring him into Frank Castle’s world.”
Floriana Lima, who recently played the role of Maggie Sawyer on CW’s Supergirl, will take on the role of Krista Dumont, “A smart, compassionate and driven psychotherapist for military veterans.”
Whigham will play Amy Bendix, “a street-smart grifter with a mysterious past.”
How these characters will find themselves either under the protection or crosshairs of The Punisher remains to be seen.
