The Rundown: Forced out of the sky by a Predator attack, Theta takes the fight to the hunter.
Theta’s attempt to leave the planet with her supplies runs into a problem when a pair of Predator fighters come looking for a fight. After taking one out, she realizes that the other one is not going to be easy to stop and that shooting her down will remove any chance of continuing the hunt for the one that murdered her parents.
Touching down on the planet, Theta puts on her armor and challenges the Predator to combat. A fight that takes an unexpected turn when a third party comes on the scene.
The Story: Brisson crafts a thrilling and entertaining ride in this issue. The story continues to be compelling and its personal elements make it an intriguing read that keeps me engaged with every twist and turn the plot takes. I love that Theta isn’t a perfect warrior and that the end of the issue adds a complication to her story that makes me excited to see where it goes next.
The Art: Walker delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals beautifully capture the tension, terror and action of the story.
