The Rundown: Theta faces off against the creature hunting her and learns something horrible about her mission.
Theta’s search for supplies to repair her ship brings her into a trap laid by another Predator. After narrowly escaping from the killer, she finds a way to return to her vehicle and stop it, but not without a cost. A cost that will end the immediate threat, but will also hamper her in her mission until she creates a solution.
After retrieving the supplies that she needs to repair her ship, Theta discovers that her mission is putting others at risk. With the threat of being discovered looming, Theta works on her repairs but it might be too late when she is attacked by something more dangerous.
The Story: A taut, thrilling and exciting story from Brisson that does a great job of showcasing the tenacity of the character while also showing the consequences of her mission. I love the tone of the story and how Theta evolves as a character. I enjoyed the tension in the story a lot and there are some great action moments throughout the issue. The cliffhanger ending makes me excited to read what comes next.
The Art: Walker delivers some beautifully detailed and stylish art throughout the issue. The character designs are great and the action is visually thrilling.
