The Rundown: After a tragic assault, Linnea makes a dangerous choice.
With her husband gone and the cultists still in control, Linnea manages to escape the ritual and finds herself back at the agency trying to get herself together. After remembering a promise Parker made to her when they first got together, Linnea is confronted by another problem. One that will force her to make a decision.
Linnea decides to return to the ritual to end it once and for all. A move that will force her to do something desperate. Something that will reveal what she really wants. With everything on the line, Linnea will say something to a world of magic and monsters that will change everything for her.
The Story: Starks brings this story to an entertaining and thrilling conclusion that I was not expecting as a fan of the series. There are some great emotional moments for the character and everything builds to an exciting twist that makes me excited to see where this story goes next. The blend of emotion and humor works beautifully and I love these characters and their relationship.
The Art: Galan delivers some beautifully detailed and deeply emotional moments for Linnea in this issue. The art is wonderful and perfectly captures the tone of the story.
