The Rundown: Weaver’s case gets more complicated while Dom and Birdie fight to save the egg.

Weaver finds her case and career in turmoil in the aftermath of the murder at the hotel. After getting a call from her boss, she decides to break the rules and continue her investigation. A choice that will bring her past and present together when she gets a visit from a familiar face.
At the same time, Dom and Birdie fight hordes of the beings on the other side and they are being overwhelmed. When a mystery stranger arrives to give them a hand, Dom and Birdie have incredibly different experiences with him.
The Story: Lemire delivers an entertaining and thrilling story in this issue. I really enjoy the different tones to both stories. Both parts of the story have great tones to them and are equally compelling as they continue to unfold the mystery. I continue to find myself immersed in both this story and the world being created within it.
The Art: Walta delivers some fantastic art in the issue. The visuals are dynamic and engaging throughout.
