The Rundown: Agent Donald Weaver finds himself with a new partner and a strange new case.

FBI Agent Donald Weaver has been taken off his previous case and is called away from his family to meet with his director and his new partner, Jimmy Harold. The two begin a new case that will take them on a road trip along the highway where Weaver learns that Harold has been investigating strange things that others do not believe.
Weaver learns more about the strange case they are investigating as well as stumbling upon a scene on the road where bodies seem to be burned into the ground. As Harold takes Weaver to the local truck stop, he reveals a connection between the strange occurrences, the truck stops and the man who created them.
The Story: Lemire crafts an intense, thrilling and engaging story in this issue. I like that Lemire takes the time to add to the mystery of the series and tell that part of it from a new and interesting perspective. I like seeing a character with so much to lose become immersed in the mystery of this story and its connections to the regular storyline are intriguing.
The Art: Walta delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. I love the world building of this series and this issue creates fantastic moments for the characters.
