The Rundown: Dom and Birdie discover more secrets on the road as Agent Weaver discovers a dark secret.
Dom and Birdie continue their journey on the road with the newly emerged creature that seems to be asleep. As they find their rig surrounded by creatures, the new creature comes to and leaves the rig to lead the rig through them before they are ambushed by someone who wants the creature Dom and Birdie are transporting.
In the real world, Weaver finds that she has been taken off the case. As she and the deputy leave the scene, they take a detour to a location connected to everything where they find something strange and possibly dangerous inside.
The Story: Lemire crafts an intense and entertaining story in this issue. The story takes some intriguing turns for both the characters and the world of the story. I like the dark intensity of the issue and how it continues to expand the mystery of the story and the world itself.
The Art: Walta delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals are as intense as the story itself.
