Peter Parker's Origin Retold in First Clip from Marvel's Spider-Man on Disney XD

Disney XD is bringing another Spider-Man series to the network. Marvel’s Spider-Man features the adventures of the young Peter Parker in high school, much like the soon to be released Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The series will replace the recently ended Ultimate Spider-Man series on the channel. In anticipation of the premiere of the series this Fall, Disney and Marvel Entertainment have released the first in a series of shorts that will retell the origin of the wall crawler as well as introduce the series supporting cast including Alistair Smithe, Harry Osborn and Liz Allen.

The four-minute short shows Spider-Man swinging through the streets of New York, past the Oscorp building. Triggered by his proximity to it, he begins to recall the circumstances that led him to becoming Spider-Man. Check it out and let me know what you think.
