Deron GenerallyThe cast of the upcoming Pet Semetary adaptation from Paramount Pictures continues to grow as the studio has chosen its female lead.
Paramount Pictures has announced in Variety that actress Amy Seimetz has landed the role of Rachel Creed in the upcoming Pet Semetary feature alongside Jason Clarke (Chappaquidick) and John Lithgow (The Crown). Rachel Creed is the wife of Louis Creed (Clarke) and mother of Ellie and Gage. She finds herself emotional shaken after a tragedy hits the family and Louis decides to try to make things right using the Pet Semetary they discover near the family home.
Amy Seimetz is known for her roles in series like The Killing, The Girlfriend Experience and Stranger Things as well as movies like Silver Bullets and Alien: Covenant.
Pet Semetary is scheduled to be released April 19, 2019.
