After announcing that Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and newcomer Ella Balinska would be taking on the roles of Charlie’s Angels, it was also revealed that director Elizabeth Banks would be taking on the role of Charlie’s point person Bosley.
Now it looks like another Bosley will be added to the mix.
According to an exclusive from The Hollywood Reporter, actor Patrick Stewart (Star Trek/ X-Men) will be taking on the role of Bosley in the upcoming film. According to the story, the Townsend Agency (named after the reclusive Charlie Townsend) has branched out to become an international intelligence service with different teams stationed throughout the world. While Banks will be playing Bosley in the film, it is being reported that Stewart will play another Bosley.
Based on the 1976-1981 series as well as the 2001 and 2003 feature films starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu, Banks co-wrote the script for this new iteration and will produce as well as direct and star in the feature.

Charlie’s Angels is expected to be released September 27, 2019.
