The Rundown: A young girl forged in tragedy will discover a darkness within her.

Police in a small town enter a home to find a gruesome scene of murder with the victims being members of the same family. Miles away from the scene, a young girl wakes up in the woods with her clothes covered in blood.

Unable to remember how she got where she is, Patra tries to determine where she is among visions of her dead dog and the emergence of a skull mask and bloody knife that form on her. As she makes her way through the woods, she discovers that she is being followed by the entity that murdered her entire family.

The Story: Robinson crafts a dark and intriguing story in this first issue. It has a brilliantly dark tone and creates an interesting world that I found highly engaging. The story almost immediately drew me in with both the characters, action and supernatural elements that make me excited to see where this story goes next.

The Art: Kolins delivers some beautifully immersive and visually compelling art throughout the issue. I really enjoyed the visual style of this first issue as well as the character designs.
