Prepare to return to Pawnee Indiana this week with a new special coming to NBC.
The cast of the NBC sitcom Parks And Recreation are returning for a new half-hour NBC special to benefit Feeding America.
According to The Hollywood Reporter: The show will find Pawnee, Indiana’s most dedicated public servant, Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), determined to stay connected with her friends and colleagues during a time of social distancing.

The cast of the original series including Poehler, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Jim O’Heir and Retta will return along with some special guests. Series co-creator Mike Schur and several Parks writers collaborated on the show. Feeding America helps food banks secure the resources they need to serve the most vulnerable members of their communities through their COVID-19 Response Fund.
Schur released a statement about getting the cast back together for the special saying; “I sent a hopeful email to the cast and they all got back to me within 45 minutes. Our old Parks and Rec team has put together one more 30-minute slice of (quarantined) Pawnee life and we hope everyone enjoys it. And donates!”
The special will air on NBC April 30th with donations open until May 21st.
