The Rundown: Batwoman finds herself fighting ghosts with Jinny Hex.

Kate Kane finds herself in the middle of a ghost town in the desert with Jinny Hex holding a gun on her. As the pair talk, Batwoman discovers that the town is surrounded by ghosts and the gun is the only thing that can stop them.

After managing to escape from the growing number of restless spirits, she and Jinny find themselves visited by the ghost of Jonah Hex who wants to know why Jinny pulled out the gun that seems to be the source of the hauntings. A gun that Kate decides would be safer in her hands.

The Story: Lanzing and Kelly continue to craft interesting stories involving characters who seem to have more to their stories than meets the eye. I like this return of Jenny Hex and how it creates a new mystery that connects to Jonah Hex in an interesting way. As compelling as the Jinny Hex/Batwoman story is, the other mysteries are just as intriguing. I really enjoyed the action in the issue as well as how the story concludes and what is teased in the end.

The Art: Carey delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. The art is brilliantly character focused and delivers some fantastic moments for the characters.
