The Rundown: The woman formally known as Drummer tells her story.
The woman formally known to her team as Drummer reveals herself to b Jakita Wagner from an organization known as Planetary. As she and her team meet to discuss their world, she is thrown into the multiverse and finds herself on a new world filled with heroes. A world she cannot escape and must learn more about.
Jakita spends years discovering everything she can about her new reality including living through several crises that alter and change the world around her. Alterations that bring her face to face with another who is traveling among the ruin of the universe. Someone who may have answers to her fate.
The Story: Lanzing and Kelly deliver an engaging and compelling story on the heel of the reveal from the last issue. It’s an entertaining and interesting trip through the multiverse and I continue to love the connections to the Wildstorm universe. The reveal creates some interesting drama for the Outsiders as well as a new and interesting arc for this series that keeps me interested.
The Art: Carey delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this art and how it frames the different worlds as well as the characters.
