The Rundown: The Outsiders go looking for a dangerous young woman unaware of the power she wields.
Drummer calls together Luke and Kate together to tell them about a threat that no one has any knowledge of. A threat in the form of a girl named Jenny who has be imbued from birth with powers she cannot understand and have the potential to cause devastating good or bad throughout the world.
Bringing in the Outsiders to track her down, Drummer sends the pair after Jenny who is finding control of her powers to become more difficult. As Batwing and Batwoman chase down the super powered young woman, Drummer tries a different tactic.
The Story: I continue to be fascinated by the world of this series and this issue does a fantastic job of touching on the bigger elements of the DC universe in new and interesting ways. The story is thrilling and has a fantastic way of introducing the character and the stakes for both the characters and the world itself. I like that Drummer is featured prominently in the story and that she adds some great elements to the plot that make me want to see what else happens with this team.
The Art: Carey delivers some fantastic art in the issue. The visuals have a wonderful style that drew me in to both the story and characters.
