The Rundown: Julia is lured to a deadly meeting that will reveal some important truths.
In the wake of Prop 87 passing, the state is dealing with an increase in violence and Julia deals with the disappearance of her mother following an attack on her. After receiving a message from her mother, she heads to a strange location to find the woman and ends up in a dangerous trap.
A trap that will bring the reporter to an unexpected meeting with a familiar face who has trapped many of the main people connected to the NO/ONE case including NO/ONE him/herself.
The Story: Higgins and Buccellato bring this arc to a satisfying and entertaining close while continuing to set up story elements that make me want to see more from it. There is a wonderful level of tension throughout this issue and everything builds to some great drama between the characters and a fantastic moment between the main characters of the story. I continue to enjoy the additional elements of the story that are found in the podcast that accompanies the series as well.
The Art: Borges delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals are gorgeously detailed and perfectly capture the dark energy of the story.
