The Rundown: Things are getting dangerous for Emily and Newburn is right at the center.
While a reporter gets closer to releasing her expose on Newburn and his job, Emily and Henry are hiding out in a safe house as the walls are closing in around them. When Emily leaves to check on her ex, she discovers a dangerous connection between him and Newburn and Henry finds himself being attacked on the street.
With things getting more dangerous for everyone involved, Emily finds Newburn and challenges him on why he hired her and forces him to finally tell her the truth.
The Story: Zdarsky delivers a thrilling, intense and entertaining story in this issue. I continue to enjoy the mystery in this series and how the plot reveals more about the character. There is a wonderfully dark and suspenseful tone to the issue and I look forward to seeing how this story gets resolved.
The Art: Phillips delivers great art in the issue. The intensity of the story is enhanced by the intensity of the art on every page.
