In a world of remakes, reboots and re-imaginings, The Hollywood Reporter conducted a poll to determine which film franchise people would want to see a new film from.
The poll from THR and Morning Consult concluded that 71 percent of people polled would like to see a new film starring Marty McFly, Doc Brown and their time traveling Delorean; Back To The Future.
The rest of the films on the list included Toy Story(69%), Indiana Jones (68%) and Jurassic Park (67%). All of which have sequels either coming (Toy Story 4) or in development. The poll also asked about franchises that are currently dormant and found that 55% of respondents wanted a new Hunger Games film, 54% wanted a new Matrix movie and 53% wanted to see a new installment of Avatar.
With two Avatar sequels on the way from director James Cameron, hopefully those interest numbers will increase.
