Deron GenerallyA new batch of set photos from the upcoming Captain Marvel movie have surfaced and they not only show star Brie Larson in uniform, but another familiar MCU face.
It’s been confirmed by several sources, including us, that Samuel L Jackson is returning to play Nick Fury in Captain Marvel next year. Thanks to Hollywood Pipeline, we now have new pics from the set that show Jackson sporting both eyes and hair as it looks like he’s being saved by Larson’s Captain Marvel.
The pics seem to show Fury (Jackson) in a conversation with Danvers (Larson) until something in the background interrupts them.
There’s still no word on the plot of the film, but we do know that the Kree will feature in it with Jude Law (The Young Pope) taking on the role of Mar-Vell, Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Ronan the Accuser and Gemma Chan (Humans) as Minn-Erva. There has also been speculation that the alien Skrulls might feature in the film as well, but that is unconfirmed. We also know that the film takes place in the 90’s and we now know that Captain Marvel will play a role in the upcoming Avengers 4 film.
