While the teaser doesn’t give away much of the plot, those who have read the series will recognize the events unfolding in front of them as the audience gets its first look at Morpheus, Dream of the Endless himself.
The Lord of Dreams has been summoned, and captured, by mortal men. Once free from his captivity, this eternal ruler of Dreams will realize that his troubles are only just beginning.
The Sandman stars Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Jenna Coleman, Charles Dance, Boyd Holbrook, Patton Oswalt, David Thewlis, Stephen Fry and Joely Richardson.
