In an earnings call with Netflix investors, we got an answer.
According to multiple sources, Netflix Chief Financial Officer David Wells informed investors on a call that the Netflix series from Marvel Studios would return sometime in 2018. He listed the series among a list of shows that were returning.
“We’ve got new seasons coming up the second half of this year of Orange Is The New Black, Ozark, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Narcos, the finale of House of Cards, the followup series for Making a Murderer,” Wells explained as he discussed shows premiering in the second half of the year.
The third season of Daredevil is rumored to be based on the classic Frank Miller “Born Again” storyline in the comics and it has been confirmed that actress Joanne Whaley is playing Matt Murdock’s mother this season along with the return of Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin.
The second season of The Punisher and the third season of Jessica Jones are already in production.
