Deron GenerallyDays after winning an Emmy for Outstanding Children’s Program, the Dark Crystal prequel series from The Jim Henson Company will not be seeing a second season.
According to multiple reports, Netflix has officially cancelled the series which brought viewers back to the world of Thra and into the beginnings of the conflict between the Gelflings and the Skeksis.
The series was a huge hit with fans of the original Dark Crystal film from 1983 as well as new fans and saw its story expand into the worlds of video games and a comic book series from Boom! Studios. There is no word on whether the series is either looking for a new home or not, but there are fans on the web hoping for a season 2 on a new platform.
