Netflix, via social media platforms, has announced the renewal of its Globally Top 10 rated sci-if series “Supacell” for a second season. Created and produced by Rapman, this show follows the lives of five average Londoners, each of whom has a genetically close family member with the sickle cell trait, as they learn to cope with new found special abilities.
During its first season, Supacell dominated the top spot in a multitude of countries, reaching the Number 2 slot in both the U.S. and its home country of the U.K. It stars Tosin Cole, Nadine Mills, Josh Tedeku, Calvin Demba and Eric Abrefa. Several famous UK actors and artists including Eddie Marsan and Ghetts also appear.
