The Rundown: Nemesis and his new partner go for a big score as their enemies prepare to face them.

In a secluded location on the west coast, the group of victims of Nemesis continue to meet and begin the next part of their plan to find and kill him. At the same time, Nemesis wakes up his new ward in order to prepare for the next part of his plan.

After a daring and violent mid-air heist, Nemesis and his partner go back into their civilian personas in order to use what they stole to secure a bigger score. A score that will not only reveal an imposter but expose the capabilities of the people hunting Nemesis.

The Story: Millar crafts a thrilling and entertaining adventure in this issue. Things are converging beautifully and I really enjoyed seeing the first part of the story focus on the victims of Nemesis and his various schemes. It’s also incredibly entertaining to see this dark duo in their other personas deal with people just as morally depraved as they are. There’s also plenty of great action throughout the issue and it ends with a fantastic twist and cliffhanger that makes me excited to see what comes next.

The Art: Valerio Giangiordano delivers some beautifully stylized and immersive art throughout the issue. I love the gritty visual style and how it enhances the drama as well as the action.
