The Rundown: Nemesis recruits a new partner while others plot to bring him down.
A young man preparing to stand trial for multiple crimes receives a cryptic message from a man in the next cell. A message that allows him to make a dangerous and violent escape. An escape that will bring him face to face with his new patron and partner, Nemesis.
The two embark on a new mission that will allow Nemesis to teach his new protégé how to be a world class supervillain. At the same time, a group of people with a personal vendetta against Nemesis begin their own plans to bring him down.
The Story: Millar continues to craft an engaging and entertaining story in this issue. It is filled with great action, thrills and dark humor. An incredibly fun and fast-moving thrill ride of a story that continues to make you root for the bad guy despite his actions. What makes the story more interesting is that the other side of the story is equally as compelling and I look forward to seeing how both sides of the story come together.
The Art: Giangiordano delivers some beautifully detailed and thrilling art throughout the story. The visuals are fantastic and I love the action.
