The Rundown: As the city continues to burn, the mayor will find himself the next target.
Los Angeles is burning and Nemesis decides to pay a special visit to another former police officer connected to what happened to his parents. He decides to teach this one a final lesson while also calling the mayor to come and save his former colleague.
In the aftermath, Nemesis makes a proposal to the mayor. One that will include some destructive stakes should he refuse. Stakes that will bring the two face to face again while Nemesis contemplates his past and his final mission before starting his personal one.
The Story: The story continues to get more interesting with every moment in this issue. Millar ramps up the action and adventure throughout while also adding more pieces to the compelling mystery being created within the series. I continue to love the tone of the series and how the character keeps growing and evolving while upping the stakes for the city and the mayor. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
The Art: Jimenez delivers beautifully detailed and thrilling visuals throughout the issue. The art is brilliant in its design and visual tone.
