Fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000 will be able to enjoy episode of the original series that are currently not available on Netflix.
With the return of the cult classic on Netflix, new fans and old have welcomed back the crew of the Satellite of Love and embraced the new cast including Jonah Ray, Patton Oswalt and Felicia Day. In the spirit of continuing to revive interest in the series, video streaming service Twitch is hosting a six-day marathon of episode of the series from its run on both Comedy Central and Sci-Fi Channel from the era of 1989 to 1997.
Fans of the series will get to see all the episodes on Shout! Factory’s TV Channel will begin airing the series at 11:00 am PT on June 26, 2017 and will continue until July 3rd. Whether it be the originals with Joel Hodgson, the next iteration with Michael Nelson or the newest Netflix iteration, I continue to be a huge fans of this quirky little series. I am already deep into the series and am currently contemplating whether or not to go into work in the morning.
