Deron GenerallyJamie Madrox has been dead in comics for a while and now Marvel Comics is looking to bring him back.
This July, Marvel Comics is bringing back the character of Jamie Madrox aka The Multiple Man in a new miniseries. Writer Matthew Rosenberg and artist Andy MacDonald will be taking on the limited series.
The character died in Death of X in 2016 and Rosenberg gave a statement to comicbook.com regarding the character and his current status.
Yeah, Jamie is very dead,” Rosenberg tells ComicBook.com “He was killed by the Terrigen Mists and all of his dupes died with him. But our book starts off with someone finding Jamie very not dead. But he is not long for this world. So the mystery of why he isn’t dead and how to save himself is a big driving force of the story.
According to Rosenberg, Jamie will be fighting against a new team determined to catch the mutant and are willing to go up against the X-Men to do it.
Multiple Man #1 goes on sale in July.
