The Rundown: Kamala takes a trip to Mojoworld to help a fellow mutant rescue her friends from an influencer nightmare.
Kamala finds herself at the base of pop star and mutant Lila Cheney. After telling her about her time on Mojoworld and how he changed their deal for her upcoming tour, Kamala agrees to help her find and rescue her fans Mojo is holding hostage.
Disguising herself as another up-and-coming media star, Kamala finds herself becoming the biggest draw on Mojoworld while Lila attempts to rescue her fans. At the same time, Dr. Gaiha receives an interesting delivery that might hold the key to taking down Ms. Marvel.
The Story: Vellani and Pirzada craft a fun and engaging adventure that gives Kamala a much-needed break from the seriousness of her arc. I like the digs at influencer culture as well as the perfect transition in tactics from Mojo. The story is fun and entertaining and leaves enough of a tease in the middle and towards the end of the issue to make me interested in seeing what happens next.
The Art: Godlewski delivers some fun and intriguing art throughout the issue. The lighter tone of the story is perfect for the visual style at play here and it beautifully captures the levity of the story visually.
