The Rundown: Ruby faces the truth about the project while Mosely and his ex battle to save their daughter.
Ruby discovers the truth about Atum’s plans for humanity and unwittingly becomes not only his accomplice, but his prisoner as well. At the same time, Gloria receives an unexpected visitor who sends her on her own mission.
Mosely has recovered enough to rejoin the fight and prepares to take on the final god. Unfortunately, Atum is expecting him and the pair will fight not only for Mosely’s daughter, but for the fate of humanity.
The Story: Guillory delivers an exciting and thought-provoking story in this issue and fills it with great action, adventure and tension. I love the stakes in the story as well as the mystery continuing to unfold within it. I really enjoyed the interpersonal conflict between the family members and look forward to seeing where the story goes next.
The Art: Lotfi crafts some beautiful art in the issue. The action is visually thrilling throughout and I love the energy brought to the imagery.
