The Rundown: Moon Knight is called out to the middle of nowhere and finds himself facing off against another hero.
The Contest of Chaos continues with Agatha Harkness using her power to manipulate both Moon Knight and Taegukgi to travel to a remote area of the woods where more chaos crystals wait to tempt them.
As the pair find themselves fighting over the crystals, Taegukgi’s powers are more than a match for Marc’s skills, but the crystals do something unexpected and the heroes wind up fighting as alternate universe versions of themselves. Each more powerful than the last.
The Story: MacKay crats an entertaining chapter in the Contest of Chaos. The series has been hit or miss with me, but this one was more entertaining because it was so unexpected in both its execution and conclusion. The story takes some wildly interesting twists and turns and ends in a way that was both unexpected and perfect for the character of Moon Knight.
The Art: Lee delivers some great art in the issue. The visuals are fun, engaging and incredibly detailed. I loved the visual style and how it worked for both characters.
