The Rundown: Marc gets a visit from an old friend as an unknown enemy tries to use him for a mission of vengeance.
Marc reveals something interesting during his therapy session. Something about the usefulness of his identity and why he seems to wear a mask everywhere he goes. At the same time, one of the men watching Marc gets a call from the man behind the curtain. He reveals that he has a new way of getting to Moon Knight. A way that will take away what he thinks are what make Marc a hero. Meanwhile, the Mission gets a new visitor in the form of Tigra.
After some pleasantries with the staff and some good natured ribbing of her former teammate, Tigra witnesses Marc get a call telling him that his finances are in the control of someone who wants him to go after Jigsaw on his behalf. As his enemy believes that he has Moon Knight under his control, he’s going to learn quickly that Marc has a new mission and it doesn’t involve being controlled by anyone.
The Story: MacKay delivers an entertaining and often poignant story in this issue. With everything else affecting Marc’s world, MacKay crafts a great standalone story that not only showcases some great action and dialogue, but also touches on who Moon Knight has evolved into. The characters moments are fantastic and the dynamic between Marc and Tigra is a great highlight. The action is awesome and I love the twists the story takes throughout.
The Art: Cappuccio delivers some awesome art throughout the issue. There are great character moments and blistering action that is visually thrilling and often fun.
