The Rundown: Marc goes after the Black Spectre and learns the bloody, violent truth.

Separated from his team, Moon Knight finds himself facing off against Black Spectre and discovers that this one is someone that he has faced before. At the same time, Zodiac enters the Mission determined to tie up a loose end by killing Reese.

Hunter’s Moon tracks down Sarnak and discovers the truth about the device they plan to use on the city while Tigra gets some unexpected help from a friendly face. When Marc is ambushed by another Black Spectre, he learns the shocking truth about his true identity and it might be the last revelation he ever has.

The Story: An intense, gripping and thrilling mystery from start to finish. MacKay does a fantastic job of servicing fans of the character with small moments I appreciate as well as ramping up the suspense in a way that makes me want to see more. The final reveal at the end of the issue was great and I can’t wait to see what it means for Marc in the next issue.

The Art: Sabbatini delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. The energy in the visuals is palpable and every reveal is given beautifully detailed life on the page.
